There was only one observation of the impact point which was bearing 270.5 deg from LA-9.

Payload Details

firing was a simple ballistic non-recoverable flights to determine
(visually) the aerodynamic stability of Sighter motors when
integrated with the proposed ASRI Long Payload Modules.

Results

Ths firing sucessfully demonstrated the stability of the
Sighter motor in proposed flight configurations. This paved the way
for the development of the ASRI Standard Payload Modules which would be
subsequently used to house supplied SSRP flight experiments and the
payload recovery system.
