ASRI Safety Committee

ASRI, by its very nature and corporate objectives, undertakes Programs and Projects that can be of an intrinsically hazardous nature. Added to this is the involvement of inexperienced students and Members. Therefore, ASRI has a responsibility to ensure that all best efforts are applied to ensuring that the potentially hazardous Program and Project activities are carried out in a safe and professional manner.

In order to meet this requirement, ASRI has established a Safety Committee tasked with ensuring that all hazardous activities are undertaken to, appropriately documented and approved, safe processes and procedures.

The ASRI Safety Committee MUST approve all hazardous Policies, Processes and Procedures prior to the hazardous activities being undertaken.
