ASRI June 2008 Campaign a success
Three Zuni rockets were successfully fired on 2008-06-07. The first two Zuni payload modules were recovered via parachute, refurbished and one was launched again and also recovered successfully. Several Zuni motors were also recovered undamadged via a new drogue chute system.
The fourth Zuni fired was launched early on 2008-06-08 , in very bad weather conditions including driving rain, so the pad crew did a splendid job in very trying conditions. Visibility down range was about 100 metres, so no chute was seen and the recovery teams have not yet found it.
All in all a very sucessful weekend and many thanks to all ASRI Trials team and supporters.
