Launchvehicle : Zulu Squire

The Zulu Squire was a low acceleration Sighter Rocket which consisted of a cluster of solid fuel booster motors attached to a main sustainer engine which utilized a LOX/Methanol propellant combination. The sustainer engine was derived from the original RTV1 design.

It was utilized to provide training for Tracker Operators in preparation for the Black Knight launches and a sequence of firings was conducted from Area 5.
