The HyPER program is a program to develop a hybrid rocket suitable for sounding rocket experiments to reach 30km+. It could also double as boosters for the AUSROC IV program.

The first HyPER (formerly Dawnbuster) project, is an 80mm hybrid rocket producing up to 1000n thrust. It has a flight profile similar to ASRI's solid fuel sighter rocket. It is to give ASRI members experience in rocket project design, construction and launch techniques and procedures.
