Brett Biddington

Location: Canberra
Brett Biddington is a member of the space team within the Global Defense Space and Security Group of Cisco Systems, Inc. The team’s focus is to devise and implement standards based merged space/ground networks that allow any remote user to be linked to any other user in the world. Brett joined Cisco in November 2002 on completion of almost 23 years in the Royal Australian Air Force. He retired as a Group Captain. He was an intelligence and security specialist before moving into capability development where he sponsored a wide range of command and control, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and electronic warfare projects. Brett is Chairman of the Australian Defence Information and Electronics Systems Association (ADIESA), a member of the Australia Telescope Steering Committee (ATSC) and a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Telecommunications Research in South Australia. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD and an active participant in several industry associations. Brett lives in Canberra and uses his spare time to read widely, run and bushwalk
